The Aprimo Digital Asset Manager (DAM) is the TNC enterprise solution for storing and sourcing our best photos, videos, and other creative content.
The Aprimo DAM can be accessed by any TNC staff person with an account.
Most users will need a “Consumer" account to download assets. Find info for consumers under the “General Users” tab. Additionally, each business unit may have a power user, or Contributor, who uploads and manages the program’s assets. Find info for contributors under the “Contributors” tab.

Asset Ethics & Usage Certification
Who Can Use the Aprimo DAM?
Any TNC staff person, volunteer or contractor can get an account in the Aprimo DAM. The only requirement is to first take the Asset Ethics and Usage Certification training hosted on ConservationTraining.org. This short training video series and certification is designed to ensure that all users of TNC assets understand how to recognize and avoid misuses of assets that could create legal or ethical risk to TNC - or hurt our relationship with partners.
For example, images of people must be used very carefully and with full adherence to the license agreement and their understanding of how the images will be used. If someone agreed to be photographed for a campaign supporting reforestation, they may not be okay having their photo used in an article about un-related ballot measures. The Asset Ethics and Usage certification helps us ensure that all TNC assets are used appropriately and with respect to the owners, the subjects, the organization, and the photographers.

Asset Ethics & Usage Certification
Who can use the Aprimo DAM?
Any TNC staff person, volunteer or contractor can get an account in the Aprimo DAM as a consumer. In addition, each BU can have one contributor. A contributor has additional rights, which include the ability to upload assets and edit metadata for assets they own.
How can I become a contributor?
To become a contributor, you must first be approved by the Global Digital Team, then you will need to take the Asset Ethics and Usage Certification training hosted on ConservationTraining.org and the Aprimo DAM Contributor Training. To start the process, reach out to the Global Digital team at nature.org/digitalrequest.
The Asset Ethics and Usage Certification is a short training video series and certification is designed to ensure that all users of TNC assets understand how to recognize and avoid misuses of assets that could create legal or ethical risk to TNC - or hurt our relationship with partners. The Contributor training is designed to teach you how to use the Aprimo DAM in a way that utilizes TNC best practices.
